Zinc
Supports growth and immune function. Found in meat, shellfish (fully cooked), beans, nuts, whole grains.
Magnesium
Involved in muscle and nerve function; leg cramps are multifactorial. Sources: greens, nuts, seeds, whole grains, dark chocolate in moderation.
Supplements
Prenatal vitamins often cover basics. Extra magnesium or zinc only if your clinician identifies deficiency — high doses can cause side effects.
